About Wholesale Wood UK

We are a family-owned business wholesaling quality timber products across the UK. We have built up an extensive network of relationships with producers across Europe and have become the preferred supplier for many firewood resellers, landscapers and other businesses looking to buy quality-inspected timber in bulk.

Because of our large annual purchase volume, we are able to secure considerably discounted prices, and we pass these savings directly to our customers. Our solid financial backing means we can provide payment terms of 30, 60 or even 90 days.

Wholesale Wood UK only sells to trade or individuals able to accommodate multi-pallet volumes. We have a monthly price list and seasonal product catalogue which we send out on request.

Oak sleepers

Grading Information

Landscaping Grade: Good condition, suitable as general-purpose sleepers or beams. Slight imperfections such as minor splits and the occasional knot or bark. Excellent results for most purposes.
Rustic Grade: Severe bark, knots, warping, or deep splits. Available on enquiry at a discounted price. Popular with carpenters and landscapers.
Crosscuts: £3 inc VAT per cut using a radial arm saw for clean, precise results.

Who is Wholesale Wood UK?
WWUK specialise in bulk wholesaling of timber for resellers and commercial projects across the UK and Ireland. Our producers are based in the UK and across South and Eastern Europe. We do not source timber from outside the European Union, and all of our wood complies with relevant European Union Timber Regulations (EUTR).
What kind of products do you sell wholesale?
We have large supply contracts with reliable manufacturers to supply green oak timber such as oak sleepers and oak fencing. We also import softwood euro-size pallets for an economical packing product. Our biggest product line is in wood fuel, such as kiln dried logs and wood pellets.
What quantities do you deliver?
Typically we sell full articulated trailer loads directly from our 44,000 square foot premises in Retford. However we can supply other quantities and in some situations we will send containers directly from port.
Is trade credit possible?
Yes, please call us to discuss. We can offer payment terms of 30, 60 or even 90 days.
Do you charge VAT?
By law we have to charge 20% VAT on timber products. The only exception is firewood or fuel purchased for consumption, where businesses are entitled to the reduced rate of 5% VAT. In all cases we will discuss this with you.
